Who We Are Welcome to the Ranch! Founded in 1824, the George Ranch Historical Park brings Texas and Fort Bend County history to life through interactive school programming, group tours, special events and Saturday programs for the general public.In accordance with the Stay Home to Save Lives Order from County Judge KP George, all Fort Bend County Libraries are closed, including the Curbside Pick-Up Service. Hands-On Summer History. Come out and visit the Ranch between 10 a.m. and noon each week during the summer to discover a new hands-on historical activity. Cost is included with general admission; guests can participate in these activities as part of their self-guided experience at no extra charge.
