Georgetown University participates in the National Institutes of Health’s Graduate Partnerships Program. Applicants who matriculate via this mechanism complete their coursework at the Georgetown University campus, but conduct collaborative research projects at both partner institutions.

The Business Administration Minor in Georgetown College offers students an opportunity to develop business knowledge and skills, in combination with their liberal arts education, to better equip them to contribute to the global economy with creativity, integrity, and a commitment to social responsibility.

The McDonough School of Business is already at the forefront of global experiential learning in all of the graduate MBA programs. As part of an innovative growth strategy, the MSB has launched a similar global experience at the undergraduate level. The Global Business Fellows Program will secure seats in this innovative program for the Fellows.

The B.S. in Business and Global Affairs (BGA) at Georgetown University accelerates understanding of the causes and consequences of economic activity around the world. The program is distinguished by an innovative, interdisciplinary approach to identifying and solving real-world problems at the intersection of business and international affairs.

The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Challenge is Georgetown’s largest annual pitch competition series. Pitch your new venture idea to an expert panel of entrepreneurs and business leaders, gain valuable feedback, win thousands of dollars in startup funds, and meet prospective mentors and investors! The top team from each preliminary competition will advance to the Georgetown Entrepreneurship.

Our Ph.D. program has much to offer. In addition to the attention of a distinguished and award-winning History faculty, our students benefit from Georgetown’s many regional studies programs and intellectual centers, where interdisciplinary activity is prized. Opportunities for language training abound.

Students in these programs may concurrently pursue studies leading to the awarding of the Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees from the Law Center or the J.D. degree from the Law Center and a graduate or doctoral degree from a graduate program at Georgetown University or Johns Hopkins University (Masters in Public Health degree only).

The MA and PhD Programs in Arabic and Islamic Studies offer advanced training in the disciplines of Arabic Linguistics, Arabic Literature (Modern and Classical), and Islamic Studies (Intellectual History, Theology, Law) with an emphasis on the close reading and interpretation of primary sources, whether linguistic or textual, modern or classical.

Founded in 1919, Georgetown's School of Foreign Service (SFS) sought to educate students about global issues and prepare them for a life of service - in business, government, or for a humanitarian agency. Today the School of Foreign Service offers students in both Washington, D.C. and Doha, Qatar an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree.
